Thank you for reelecting me and the extraordinary group of people who will collectively form Council for 2022 - 2030!

I ran for a second term because I believe in compassionate and courageous leadership, and in our collective ability to shape the future of Comox with care, creativity and purpose.
 

I want Comox to be a place where people and natural systems thrive, where people feel connected and able to participate, and where the decisions we make today leave future generations with good options.
 

I’m committed to approaching the next four years through the lens of stewardship for future generations. With that in mind, my priorities include:

• Affordable housing and thoughtful growth with more housing choices, complete neighbourhoods and careful stewardship of the land and natural systems that sustain us

• Youth, accessibility and belonging with more opportunities and welcoming spaces for young people and a stronger commitment to disability inclusion

• Water security and resilient communities with greater attention to conservation, watershed health, natural infrastructure and long-term resilience

• A strong local economy and vibrant community rooted in place-based community economic development, local businesses, food, arts and culture, and a lively downtown

• Open government and meaningful participation with more ways for people to help shape decisions about their neighbourhoods and community
